This book brings together studies dedicated to Special Education and school inclusion, articulating theoretical foundations, legal frameworks, public policies and teaching practices. The chapters discuss the historical trajectory of inclusion in Brazil, legislative advances, the challenges involved in ensuring educational rights, and the implications of the National Education Guidelines and Framework Law for policies in Mato Grosso do Sul.
